I just received a couple of beautiful flatware caddies along with the flatware. I couldn’t wait to put them in the flatware drawer. Now I’m noticing that the knives just won’t stay in. The caddy is stainless steal & opened all around. The knives seem to be the only thing that fits through the openings & slide out. Does anyone have this problem? If so, how did you remedy it?

We got brand new Samsung stainless steel fridge & range a month ago & I am ready to sell them.
No matter what I have tried to clean them the smudges, streaks & marks are still visible.
I have tried windex, stainless steel polish or just plain soap & water & nothing works. You can still see the smudges, finger prints & streaks.

Over the years my mom has had silverware disappear or it has been lost. She very much wants to try to complete the set again or buy another one…they are not made anymore and since they are stainless and not silver they are impossible to find, so after very many hours of searching I thought I should ask you fellow yahoo’ers. Do any of you have or know where to find "Rogers Stainless Steel (Dorm Cottage Camp) style flatware? I recently was attempting to cook rice on the stove, & got distracted by other things. So the rice burned to the bottom of the pot, leaving a nice solid black bottom with some lighter brown lines where some grains hadn’t quite fully burned… anyway, I tried using Comet (my older brother suggested it) , & it’s currently soaking in the sink with some dial soap. What cheap or around the house kind of product will work?? I assume that I’ll have to get a wire like scrubby, but I don’t know what else will help.

@ kid with a 12 gauge- its a Nikon buckmasters 6-18X40 bdc reticle with the 4" screw on sun shade that is included. and just if your wondering the rifle is a Remington 700 VTR in .223.

I’m looking to buy a set of stainless steel cookware today to replace some non-stick ones that were a total joke. I don’t want ANY MORE non-stick materials stratching up and then flaking off into the food! I want something with a high quality…like with an aluminum or copper core…without having to sell off a kid or two as slaves! I was reading up on all clad and calphalon and then found this review for cusinart here: http://www.only-cookware.com/stainless_steel_cookware.html that has me thinking maybe I’ll go with them. (The ladies that wrote the review don’t sell them, by the way.)
Here are 4 sets I’m looking at …. but they vary a lot in price! Could someone take a look and tell me what you think? I would SO APPRECIEATE IT!

I made Chicken Parmesan yesterday and (long story short) got some of the cheese burned onto the pan. I’ve soaked it in water, soaked it in vinegar, and scrubbed with Bar Keeper’s Friend cleaner and there’s still some there.

I know I could get it off with a green scrub pad, but it’s All-Clad (not WalMart) and I don’t want to scar it up. It will come off with repeated scrubbing, but I’m looking for something that will make it easier (esp if this happens again).

Thanks for any ideas.
All-Clad warns to never use sprays like Pam. I did it before I new better & it was almost as bad getting it cleaned off. That’s when I discovered Bar Keeper’s Friend.

I usually use the cast-iron, but must not have been thinking when I pulled out the stainless. One of those stupid mistakes I never thought I’d make. (:
new=Knew Oooops.

I know NOTHING about kitchen cookware brands or which type is better… I’m shopping at JCPenney or Macy’s most likely, unless one of you tell me otherwise. My boyfriend’s mom really wants new pots for her kitchen, and I really would like to get them for her for Christmas. However, on the JCPenney website (which i’ll list below) it says shop by type… Aluminum, Stainless Steel, Hard anodized…

I have a wet 2 straight flat iron and i really need to clean it …cause it has a tone of product build up… so i have some welman stainless Steel cleaner & Polish in an spray can.. is it okay to use this to clean it….
